Legacy of Kain has been rumored for a long time to have an upcoming sequel/remake in the works.
But that’s all it has been thusfar.
Now there is a glimmering beacon of hope that Kain himself would be proud and giddy about. The web-domain WarForNosgoth.com has been registered by CSC Corporate Domains, Inc. A company that registers domains for their clients to keep them safe until further use will commence.
Now this in itself doesn’t tell us much. it’s just a name. But a name we all recognize all to well. Nosgoth is the realm in which the adventures of Kain and his lieutenant raziel take place.
Could it be that Square Enix, the current publisher of Crystal Dynamics games asked CSC Corporate Domains to keep the name safe?
Only time will tell. Hopefully with this news circulating, that will be a very short time.
