Confirming they’ll premiere the new theatrical trailer next week, on March 5, Yahoo Movies has just debuted the latest poster (spotted earlier today) for Marvel’s highly-anticipated Iron Man 3 flick! Featuring a battle-damaged, armored Tony Stark with his Malibu Mansion and additional suits of armor in the background, check out a banner above and new one-sheet (and UK version) below!
This is clearly different then the cover of Empire magazine that suggested a similar poster look like earlier posters of other characters we posted.
A thing to note however is that among the different armours in the background we can see the Space-Armour of which we revealed the concept art yesterday. Are these armours controlled by Tony’s neural link… or is something else going on?
Opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX theaters on May 3, the Shane Black-directed action adventure stars Robert Downey Jr., Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau, Ben Kingsley and Wang Xuequi.
Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
